“Beanpole” Screening

Duke will be partnering with the Department of Slavic and Eurasian Studies to screen “Beanpole” on 4/6 in Griffith Film Theater at 7 pm and 10 pm. “Beanpole” tells of two young Leningrad women who search for meaning and hope during their struggle to rebuild their lives amongst the ruins after World War II. It won several awards at the Cannes Film Festival and remains a must-see film.
